Hello all, my name is Annie. Allow me to introduce myself to you.

Growing up I always liked to write. I found the process fascinating and enjoyed reflecting on my thoughts and writing it on paper. I especially liked to analyze the works of other authors and write essays about it. My English classes in high school allowed me to explore that. But I also enjoyed the sciences which used another part of my brain perhaps the less creative but the more rational. I ended up studying biology in college and put the degree in good use by going to medical school and eventually becoming a doctor.

I am close to retirement and my kids are away in college, so I have a lot more free time to read and write. I enjoy this site and write mostly about things that inspire me. I have come across some amazing writers on this site and enjoy their work.
